San Gabriel, CA — May 1, 2026 —San Gabriel Valley Humane Society (SGVHS) is proud to announce the official launch of pet licensing services for City of San Gabriel and Temple City. Beginning May 1st, residents can conveniently license their pets online through SGVHS’s online platform through its pet licensing partnership with DocuPet.
The updated licensing services for the City of San Gabriel and Temple City require proof of rabies vaccination and offer flexible one and two-year licensing options coinciding with rabies vaccine expiration:
- City of San Gabriel: Dog licensing and voluntary cat licensing
- Temple City: Dog licensing only
DocuPet pet registration brings modern, accessible pet licensing services to the communities it serves. Through this partnership, residents can quickly register their pets, upload vaccination records, and manage licenses in one place. Each license tag also includes free access to HomeSafe®, DocuPet’s 24/7 lost pet service designed to help reunite lost pets with their families faster.
